Woo doggies! Yes, it’s been a while since we’ve posted anything… too long in fact, and for that we are deeply sorry. It’s not that we forgot about y’all, it’s that we’ve been extremely busy fending off lemons being thrown at us like the old Dodge-ball games. Remember that? A ball to the face and you knew who was angry at you; that’s for sure! But life’s trials and tribulations tend to get in the way with more ups and downs than a roller coaster from hell! Hair’s a mess, and clothes all disheveled from the ride, but we’re still here, alive and kicking! And boy… do we have some exciting news for you! So… let’s get down to it, shall we?
First off, we are preparing for a big move in a month, so the hardship involved with getting everything arranged has taken us out of our regular writing schedule. What with donating unessential items to those who can use them, boxing up the things we can’t live without, calling and pricing movers, changing services over; it’s all very time-consuming. However, once we get relocated and unpacked, that’s when the real fun begins! More than a few of you have been inquiring… rather loudly… when the audiobooks are coming out because they either don’t have the time or don’t like to read. They would rather hear it – while sitting in traffic, on the way to and from work, or at work for those just sitting and typing – being read the way the characters are meant to sound. I can’t blame them. It’s like listening to a movie with directions. Well, hold on to your butts; we have decided to do it!
That’s right! Once we get settled in, we are going to be creating a studio-ish and get busy on the audiobooks for ‘The Rise of Seth’ and then ‘Guardian of Antiquity’ and the goal is to get those published this year. They would make great Christmas gifts! After those are finished, we are going to dive into editing – putting the finishing touches on book three – and it should be ready no later than the first of next year, with the audiobook following shortly after. I know a few of you have been waiting patiently to see what next adventure will unfold for our adventuring party. Soon, my sweets… soon. Then we can get busy writing the final book in the series, which ties up all the loose ends and connects all the confusing dots! And boy-oh-boy is the ending going to knock you out of your socks! It might even make you go back and read it all again with a whole new perspective or listen to the audiobooks the second time around.
We’re also going to be doing weekly videos so that you guys can see what we’re up to and keep you up to date with the progress of the latest projects. We can’t wait!
